Electrical Product Architect, AR/VR Hardware

I spent six years in the Marine Corps, which taught me a great deal about perseverance and working together. It’s inspiring to collaborate with people who share this same mentality now at Meta especially because they come from different backgrounds.

I spent six years in the Marine Corps, which taught me a great deal about perseverance and working together. It’s inspiring to collaborate with people who share this same mentality now at Meta especially because they come from different backgrounds. As an engineering manager on the Augmented/Virtual Reality (AR/VR) Hardware team, I’m currently exploring how we can integrate AR into different devices. We’re constantly pushing the boundaries of innovation, and in many ways building the standard in this emerging field.

I taught myself how to program in 7th grade, and in college, I decided to pursue an Electrical Engineering degree so I could design the hardware as well as the programming. At work I get to problem solve daily. How do we build extremely small and light designs? This is the puzzle we need to figure out. My work is my hobby and I get to take on these technical challenges while learning from my closest friends every day.
