Empowering Managers to Build Inclusive Teams
People managers play a critical role in creating inclusive team environments and culture at Meta. Managing Inclusion is a virtual course offered to managers at Meta to help them understand the challenges team members – particularly those from underrepresented groups – may be facing and build their capabilities to create inclusion for every member of their team.
During this course, participants will learn about diversity and inclusion-related strategies and tactics to:
- Help All Team Members Feel Valued
- Participants learn how to create a sense of belonging for all team members, particularly those from underrepresented groups.
- Equalize Bias
- Participants examine the ways they give feedback, make decisions, and interact with team members to understand and address implicit bias.
- Level the Playing Field
- Participants build action plans that include specific steps to help create a culture of inclusion on teams at Meta.
